leave hate-notes on my bedroom door.<\/em><\/div>\n
Someone who encourages Christ’s success in me,<\/em><\/div>\n
not someone who spends their energy <\/em><\/div>\n
ridiculing my abilities.<\/em><\/div>\n
Someone who respects me,<\/em><\/div>\n
not someone who throws loud drinking parties<\/em><\/div>\n
without caring that I am attempting sleep.<\/em><\/div>\n
Some day I may get to come home to
a smile at the fact that I am in the kitchen
as opposed to a frown of annoyance.<\/div>\n
Some day I may get to come home to <\/em><\/div>\n
someone who says, “how was your day?”<\/em><\/div>\n
someone who says, “I love you,”<\/em><\/div>\n
someone who enjoys that I am home.<\/em><\/div>\n
Some day I may get to come home<\/em><\/div>\n
and really feel like it’s a home<\/em><\/div>\n
and I belong there <\/em>[this side of heaven].<\/em><\/div>\n
