Only a view.<\/p>\n
But enough to catch you.<\/p>\n
Enough to grasp you.<\/p>\n
And make you not want to return.<\/p>\n
Ever.<\/p>\n
No you don’t know what all is out there.<\/p>\n
There could be scary things.<\/p>\n
Hard things.<\/p>\n
So many unknowns.<\/p>\n
But suddenly the hallway is not enough.<\/p>\n
You have to readjust your eyes to look back into the room.<\/p>\n
And you can’t wait to go outside.<\/p>\n
Please, Lord, send us outside …of ourselves, of our “deserves”, of our comforts.<\/p>\n
