{"id":15465,"date":"2016-07-28T07:52:42","date_gmt":"2016-07-28T12:52:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/todayslegacy.wordpress.com\/?p=15465"},"modified":"2016-07-28T07:52:42","modified_gmt":"2016-07-28T12:52:42","slug":"his-personal-love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/todayslegacy.net\/index.php\/2016\/07\/28\/his-personal-love\/","title":{"rendered":"His Personal Love"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a free moment, (which I am learning are scarce when you are handed a schedule with every hour for the next 60 days planned out) I wanted to stop and tell you a small story of God&#8217;s provision.<\/p>\n<p>It started abruptly for one little three year old girl as this new word, &#8220;Africa&#8221; joined our vocabulary. She didn&#8217;t invite it, but she learned to get used to it.<\/p>\n<p>Soon &#8220;Africa&#8221; meant cleaning out old things from cabinets.<\/p>\n<p>Then &#8220;Africa&#8221; meant doing a lot of shopping and mystery boxes arriving via the mailman.<\/p>\n<p>Then &#8220;Africa&#8221; meant packing all our stuff away in boxes and giving a lot of stuff away.<\/p>\n<p>But then came the one day amidst all the &#8220;Africa&#8221; when she looked up at me with sad little eyes and asked, &#8220;Pink car is being given away too?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Pink car was a dear friend to her. Pink Fisher Price car meant &#8220;Africa&#8221; could wait for a few minutes of reckless parking lot play. Pink Car was independence as she sped her little legs, Flintstone style&#8221;, in that preschool play car wherever her heart desired. Pink car was far better than any bike. Pink car was even better than sidewalk chalk. Pink car was AWESOME!<\/p>\n<p>I couldn&#8217;t possibly help her understand that she wouldn&#8217;t fit in pink car by the time we could see it next in two years. I couldn&#8217;t help her see how old and sun-faded\u00a0pink car had been through the years. Pink car could not go.<\/p>\n<p>And\u00a0she\u00a0hurt.<\/p>\n<p>And we hugged.<\/p>\n<p>And God heard her little heart.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And then on\u00a0day one of orientation she found&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/07\/p1019479-e1469709986245.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-15483 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/07\/p1019479-e1469709986245.jpg?w=225\" alt=\"\" width=\"280\" height=\"373\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Green car!!!!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/07\/p1019478.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-15488\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/07\/p1019478.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"\" width=\"611\" height=\"458\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Oh dear ones, look at her little face. She just couldn&#8217;t stop giggling.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Her heart was so full and she shouted out, &#8220;I LOVE\u00a0MY SCHOOL!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Oh how He loves you and me.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; &#8230; Her dear little heart.
