The heavens declare the glory of God;<\/p>\n
the skies proclaim the work of His hands.<\/p>\n
Day after day they pour forth speech;<\/p>\n
night after night they display knowledge.<\/p>\n
There is no speech or language<\/p>\n
where their voice is not heard.<\/p>\n
Their voice goes out into all the earth,<\/p>\n
their words to the ends of the world.<\/p>\n
In the heavens He has pitched a tent for the sun,<\/p>\n
which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion,<\/p>\n
like a champion rejoicing to run his course.<\/p>\n
It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other;<\/p>\n
nothing is hidden from its heat.<\/p>\n
The law of the Lord is perfect,<\/p>\n
reviving the soul.<\/p>\n
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,<\/p>\n
making wise the simple.<\/p>\n
The precepts of the Lord are right,<\/p>\n
giving joy to the heart.<\/p>\n
The commands of the Lord are radiant,<\/p>\n
giving light to the eyes.<\/p>\n
The fear of the Lord is pure,<\/p>\n
enduring forever.<\/p>\n
The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous.<\/p>\n
They are more precious than gold,<\/p>\n
than much pure gold;<\/p>\n
they are sweeter than honey,<\/p>\n
than honey from the comb.<\/p>\n
By them is your servant warned;<\/p>\n
in keeping them is great reward.<\/p>\n
Who can discern his errors?<\/p>\n
Forgive my hidden faults.<\/p>\n
Keep your servant from willful sins;<\/p>\n
may they not rule over me.<\/p>\n
Then will I be blameless,<\/p>\n
innocent of great transgression.<\/p>\n
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight,<\/p>\n
O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.<\/p>\n
