I used to only see the poverty.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The broken pieces.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The suffering.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As if somehow it defined things<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Trapped things.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Deprived things.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Then I began to see better<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The poverty was in my perspective.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

You see, there’s no poverty of friendship here.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

No poverty of love.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

No poverty of creativity.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Oh sure, we live surrounded by poverty.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

But there’s no poverty of being together here.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Dare we see poverty<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

while also seeing where there’s no poverty?<\/p>\n
