Life is always a mixed bag. And since we do transitions best with a pet nearby, we decided to throw in some ducks to our mix for a couple of months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/08\/img_4187.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20665\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>They started out, straight from the post office (you can mail birds!), super tiny and snuggly. You know, all because childhood should come with MUCH squealing and laughter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/08\/img_4561.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20673\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>They grew up fast and before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye as they moved to the farm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/08\/img_4812.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20674\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/08\/img_4813.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20675\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>They enjoyed one last shower and one last swim in the baby pool. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/08\/img_4811-1.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20677\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And then it was time to load up!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/08\/img_4833.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20682\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/08\/img_4835.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20683\" \/><figcaption>Our drive was long and allowed for some leg snuggles.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/08\/img_4841.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20684\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Goodbye, sweet duckies! And I don&#8217;t think we&#8217;ll forget them.&#8221; I told her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYeah&#8230;\u201d she said with a smile as she looked out the window. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/08\/img_4170.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20691\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>They sure were filthy little things sometimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/08\/img_4470.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20692\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>But they were beyond worth it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/08\/img_4826-1.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20693\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Goodbye, beloved duckies.
