Government delays in developing countries always add adventure to our lives, even if we don\u2019t always welcome that kind of adventure. And now we can finally fill out that page in the baby (record) book called, \u201cyour first days at home\u201d. \ud83c\udf89\ud83d\ude4c\ud83c\udffc\ud83c\udf89<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2022\/03\/img_0910-1.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20956\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You absolutely LOVE your hot air balloon mobile. And while excitedly kicking legs and flailing arms prove harder to undress and redress, your delighted coos at the balloon people bouncing along for their daily ride sure melts out hearts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2022\/03\/img_0909.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20968\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally being in the same country as all our homeschool curriculum has added to increased morning snuggle sessions to the soundtrack of civil war history at the moment. You don\u2019t seem to mind in the least. Nor do you mind being \u201cone of the girls\u201d as you fit right into home life, despite the slight discomfort of the twenty degree jump when we crossed the border back into the tropics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2022\/03\/img_0911.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20969\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2022\/03\/img_0930.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20962\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We even got to take you on your first walk on the beach\u2026 well, more like your first napping walk on the beach\u2026 hiding under a Muslim blanket for sun protection. \u2026 honestly, I\u2019m not even sure if you knew we were ON the beach. \ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2022\/03\/img_0927.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20960\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You are THRILLED to now be old enough to face outward in the carrier (given to us by the wonderful friends you have yet to meet in your passport country, though not your birth certificate country). And with outward facing comes an instant teething bar and a whole world of excited \u201cair swimming\u201d amidst cooking, cleaning, and everyday tasks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2022\/03\/img_0924-1.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20970\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ve found your hands, your giggle,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2022\/03\/img_0949-2.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20973\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And you still adore your bunny lovey (even when Mommy and Daddy accidentally leave him in Maputo and your Uncle Steve graciously drives him all the way up from Maputo, along with a lovely rocking chair). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2022\/03\/img_0939.jpg?w=803\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20967\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2022\/03\/img_0858.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20958\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We love you, Smalls, and are thrilled to have been given the privilege of three months of you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2022\/03\/img_0812.jpg?w=737\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20966\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Welcome home, baby girl.
