It involved building the wall-mounted bookshelves and moving the toys out of our living room, <a href=\"http:\/\/todayslegacy.blogspot.com\/2012\/06\/home-improvement.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">remember<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>Well I changed around our &#8220;office space&#8221; too and promised I&#8217;d let you see the finished product. That project sat a little more on the back burner and I finally finished it earlier this week. So&#8230;.. drum roll please&#8230;..<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align:center;\"><u><b>Before:<\/b><\/u><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear:both;text-align:center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/p6251282.jpg\" style=\"margin-left:1em;margin-right:1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"240\" src=\"http:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/07dc4-p6251282.jpg\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align:center;\"><u><b>After:<\/b><\/u><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear:both;text-align:center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/p7171431.jpg\" style=\"margin-left:1em;margin-right:1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"400\" src=\"http:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/362e7-p7171431.jpg\" width=\"300\" \/>\u00a0<\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear:both;text-align:center;\">\u00a0Viola!<\/div>\n<p>Our new office space has everything in it there was before (ta da!!!) hehe. PLUS all our &#8220;please ask Mommy&#8221; homeschooling supplies.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear:both;text-align:center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/p7171428.jpg\" style=\"margin-left:1em;margin-right:1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"320\" src=\"http:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/eb4cd-p7171428.jpg\" width=\"240\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>In order to avoid tempting disobedience, I went to the thrift store and purchased two sheer-ish curtains. I wanted them to be sheer-ISH because even the wonderful organization in clear tubs, etc behind them can begin to look messy with all it&#8217;s business.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear:both;text-align:center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/p7171427.jpg\" style=\"margin-left:1em;margin-right:1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"240\" src=\"http:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/b0d1d-p7171427.jpg\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>So with these cute little curtains cut, reinforced at the top and stapled onto my bookshelves, it helps with the &#8220;no touchy, please&#8221; hint, keeps with our black\/white &#8220;office&#8221; furniture theme, and makes it look not quite as cluttered. I also added a panel of sheer curtain to the underside of the desk to follow-suit and really section off the space.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear:both;text-align:center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/p7171426.jpg\" style=\"margin-left:1em;margin-right:1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"240\" src=\"http:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/eb85d-p7171426.jpg\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>And again, for my non-reading crowd, I added my stop signs as a reminder that while I don&#8217;t mind them standing around in this space, curious hands need to stay in pockets.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear:both;text-align:center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/p7171433.jpg\" style=\"margin-left:1em;margin-right:1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"320\" src=\"http:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/b95ac-p7171433.jpg\" width=\"240\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/p7171434.jpg\" style=\"margin-left:1em;margin-right:1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"320\" src=\"http:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/34889-p7171434.jpg\" width=\"240\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>The girls have been very good and respectful of the privacy of the space\/items in the space as well as their happy little welcome selves in sharing in electronic fun with me.<\/p>\n<p>To give you a general feel for how &#8220;the office&#8221; falls in the layout of the room, here&#8217;s a pic to help.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear:both;text-align:center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/p7171425.jpg\" style=\"margin-left:1em;margin-right:1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"300\" src=\"http:\/\/todayslegacy.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/e746f-p7171425.jpg\" width=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>I like how open the &#8220;office&#8221; remains despite the fact that I turned the desk to cut the room up a bit.
